1. Take a strip of paper or a non-stretchy string
Cut a thin strip of paper (around 5 mm wide) or use a piece of non-stretchy string. A narrow strip gives the most accurate result.

2. Wrap it tightly around the base of your finger
Place the paper or string around the finger where you plan to wear the ring.
Pull it snug against the skin, not loose. Mark the point where the ends meet.

3. Measure the length with a ruler
Lay the paper or string flat and measure the marked length in millimetres. This number is the circumference of your finger.

A table listing wrist circumference measurements in millimeters and their corresponding EU ring sizes.

4. Check the sizing chart which EU size corresponds to your circumference.

If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one. Rings can usually be made slightly larger while making them smaller is more difficult.
